wheel refinishing(fuchs)

Ok I have a quick story and I know some will say you can't do that and you know what I did and I will to those people and to the others this is for your information for the archives. I hope you like the pictures

1st pictures of the 7 and 9 fuchs I purchased for 400 dollars thanks to the help of mike van wyk




2nd is pictures of the fuchs stripped of the chrome plating ready to go to the polishers



3rd is the fuch refinished and tires mounted. Note there are no pits and the wheels look fantastic

the run down for costs were

400 for the rims
200 for chrome stripping
400 for polish
350 for new khumo ecta 712s

so not bad what do you think?

Wow - that is great for 1$,350! I paid, well not quite 3 times that for 8s and 9s with Kumho's. they were done by Al Reed in a sort of RSR type finish with polished lips.
