Anyone willing to test drive a cab in L.A.?
I'm considering the 86 cabriolet that Sonic db is selling. Problem is, I live in Wisconsin and it's in Redondo Beach CA. I'm hoping someone in that area would be willing to give it a pre-ppi lookover and drive. If it should work out it would be worth dinner and beers on me. Fwiw-I've done this for others, but I could look at cool cars all day.

I'll be in Redodo Beach on Sunday afternoon, let me know if you need someone to look at it then. I'll be out of town Friday through Sunday and driving to Redondo that afternoon only, as it happens. I'll PM my cellphone no. as I will not have access to a computer over the weekend

Edward993- Erik is showing the car at the Pelican auction (? or is it open house?) on Saturday around 2pm. Any chance you'll be in that area? I'll send you an e-mail also.
Anyone else going to be there? Here's a chance to go tooling around in a nice cabriolet in California. I think people pay good money to live that dream. Just looking for a general impression of how the car looks and drives before I spend $$ on a ppi sight unseen. |
