Hmm, I thought to try Transpo, but they only offer the 32mm slip rings. They have a rectifier but it's only for an SEV/marchal type.
Here are the OE bosch part numbers. ALTERNATOR 0120400522 BALL BEARING 1120905057 BRUSHHOLDER 1124336017 DIODE 1127320015 FRAME D.E. 1125824023 FRAME S.R.E. 1125884025 RECTIFIER 1127320017 REG BO 12V 0190062001 ROTOR 1124034705 SLIP-RING BO 32 MM 1124304007 STATOR 1124229004 Unfortunately a basic check showed those diodes NLA, at least under that number. It looks like a x-ref for the rectifier is still available (UK site) http://www.woodauto.com/Component.aspx?Ref=RTF3972

Hi,
I rebuilt mine (1972) using a diode pack I got, along with bearings from autoexpress in SC. Their tele number is 888-3203-3804. I think the guy's name is Matt. The secretary initially stated they didn't sell to individuals, but when I got through to Matt he was great. Hope this helps. Paul. |

How about parts for a 77 Paris-Rhone? The plastic bearing support in mine crumbled into little bits when I went to change out the bearings. Can I get a new support? (The support is integral with the rear cap, which covers the bearing on the brush end of the unit. The cap is black plastic, and includes a liner to support the outer race of the bearing. What a dumb design.)

I recently had a '78 alternator rebuilt locally for $90. Rather than spend time looking for sources for parts, I would take it to someplace that has a reputation for being able to rebuild them. They will replace all of the parts that need to be replaced and know what can be substituted for NLA parts. When you get it back, it will be like new.
