What superb reliability !!

Had to wake her up today for the annual required inspection. She has been tucked away since November. Without further ado, I turned the key - and she starts right up on the button. Idles smooth as silk directly. A bit of white smoke first minute then clean. Took her out for a riveted spin to rid her of the winter cob web. Sensational feeling !! Spring is here, finally. Long over due.

These cars are so fantastic. Reliable, amicable and a total blast to drive. How can 231 hp feel so impressive !!!

Sorry for the Hallelujah rant theme. Just had to tell somebody (who understands what I am coming from ;) ).

I agree, mine went into hibernation in November and came out last weekend. Fired right up and runs great! Its like getting a new 911 every spring.

That's a great feeling, isn't it guys? This year I had a different feeling: winter was so nice here this year (ie relatively warm, and snow and ice free) that I was able to use the car throughout its usual hibernation period.

To me, that's an even greater feeling!

you guys should feel how these cars respond to the cold, dense winter air.

Man you guys make me wish that the winters here in the South werent so mild. Then I could have that excitement of breaking out the Carrera every spring:D :D
I did have to put the top back on the Targa... Monday of this week;)

I agree w Bill K- Mr Motronic loves the cold air as much as he hates the hot/humid stuff.

That why mine is never really put away but goes out whenever weather and road salt level permits year 'round.

It hasn't been quite that mild here in mid-central northern North Carolina. :D :D
