So much for classic car insurance!!
Well just got my 911 on the road after sitting for 3+ years, my insurancelimits me to 5000 miles a year, yeah sure, well in te last 5 days I've put on over 700 miles, lets see at this rate i don't think I will be using this insurance next year. In any case I'm having a ball, I think my wife truly believes I'm having an affair, talk about keeping on her toes, well guys thought I would share this with you, I think we're getting low on milk, guess I'll take another excursion, (long way) to the market, until next time regards, Johnny O

Your monthly mileage will probably drop a bit. Mine goes up and down all over the place - still averaging about 3500/year.

it's not so much the mile thing with my classic car coverage, it's the "where it's stolen from" part that scares me most. like it better not get stolen from the mall parking lot, or broken into at the bar.

You can usually call them and tell them that you've put in more miles, and they'll just increase your premium a bit...

Thanks for all the input, by the way Wayne, I love your books, gives me a new found confidence and a more comprehensive understanding of the inner working of my car.

I insured my 911T with a classic car insurance company once only to find out their restrictions wouldn't let me drive it to work only "parades or car events" as they put it.
Parades? Hell I'm not driving a frickin' Stanley Steamer. I bagged them You might want to ask them directly. Accidents happen and there aren't many parades Tuesday @ 8 in the morning.
