Gaskets: does it matter which side faces which way?
My vavle cover gaskets appear to be a little smoother/shinier on one side than the other. Does it matter which gasket goes to which side? I suspect it doesn't but I"m still learning so I want to get it right. Thanks.
Oh, and any tips on surface prep would help please.
