Loose Wheel Bearing?

I am replacing my front rotors. I pulled off the hub and rotor together and was surprised that the wheel bearing came right out. I had read that you have to bake your wheel hub in an oven to get the bearing out...is it normal for it to pop right out?

I was planning to just put the new rotor on, put everything back on the car and add some grease, but now I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the bearing...does this sound normal?

I'm a newbie, so I hope this isn't a stupid question. Thanks for your help!

Dave, I think you are confusing the bearing with the bearing race. The race needs to be pressed in or out but the bearing is held in with the thrust washer.
