Seat Belt Malfuntion solved
My customer complained that the seat belt in her '82 Targa hadn't worked since the day she got it. P.O. was the late husband of her best friend. He took great care of his car and when he passed away his wife parked it for a number of years. My customer finally persuaded her to sell it. Looks as though as though this little guy lived in it for a while also.

Too wild
Kevin my seat belt locks when you are pulling it out and you have to pull release...it seems like forever to get it to come out far enough to get around me. Is this a common problem? I should probably search the archives.

it's common on belts that are assembled or mounted wrong. I'd get it looked at.
