complete webber conversion
 

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Motormeister has a complete 40mm webber conversion kit for my CIS 3.0 for US$1995.

Unfortunately, I can't find any on pelican as I would prefer to shop here.

Suffice to say, Motormeister has been discussed on this forum.

Do you think this kit is worth the risk? Do you think I would get my goods?

Motormeister has received a fairly sour reputation among the denizens of the Pelican forum, but that's mostly for engine work. I'm not sure their carburetors will fair all that better.

And seeing as you're down under and Motormeister is here, in Southern California, should something be wrong with the carburetors, you might be out of luck as to any recourse you can take. I'd think long hard about this.

On the other hand, if you want to purchase new carburetors, PMO would be a better bet. Look them up at www.pmocarb.com. They are more expensive, but you will get a quality product.

Also, try the classifieds section of the forum. Give a shout out that you want carbs, manifolds and linkages for your 3.0. I'm sure something will come up.
