Removing line stripe paint
Hey all- I got some @#$#%&* line striping paint on my car and didn't notice it right away. It is a bunch of small flecks, but they are on there pretty good. I tried a plastic bondo spreader I had that didn't even budge the damn stuff.

I had this happen to my old Z-24, about 2 weeks after I bought it new.
Go the nearest auto paint store. There is a product that will remove this without harming the original finish but I can't think of the name. Get it soon as the paint will cure and be even harder to remove. |
I used kerosene with success, but that was on my pickemup truck. Just have car wash soapy water handy to use as soon as the line paint is removed...wash & wax. Experiment in a low visibility area first.

NAPA sells an item called a eraser pad, it's a light brown colored rubber like disc that you chuck into an electric hand drill. It will take those paint specs off without harming your base paint.
