Correct mixture and idle settings

anyone know the correct mixture and idle settings for my 82SC with dansk straight through pre silencer and haywood and scott muffler.

I've noticed a puff of black smoke from tailpipe when i blip the throttle from idle when she's fully warm, so i'm gonna stick her on my mates tuner but i'm not sure what the correct settings should be.

Thanks.

What kind of meter? Wide band 02 or a smog check?

It will most likey be leaner with smog stuff removed and a freer flow.

3.5% CO @ ~950 RPM. You have the lambda controller on your 82SC. Emperical data suggests that you set it closer to the 3.5% with the O2 sensor disconnected and leave it disconnected. Timing can be set to 30 degrees full advance (6000 RPM)...safely..more if you know what's going on in the cylinders. You may need to back it up a little if you are running in the summer and detonation can be detected.

As the car is an 82 ROW from Switzerland it hasn't, and never had a Lambda.

Thanks chaps.
