Hard/flex line oil seeping at thread. Replace hardline?

Over the weekend I got under the car and began to examine the new ride so as to be familiar with it's state while it goes through it's first few tanks of gas after not being driven regularly for an unknown period of time.

I have a bit of leak starting to form at the remaining visable thread on the hardline side. An attempt to tighten the connection was made.

In this picture, (linked from the catalog)...

Currently it's negligable oil loss but over the course of two weeks, there would be a single drop of oil hitting the ground.

Q. Does this type of leak warrant replacement of the hardline?

I'm asking as I anticipate doing an oil change soon and could be proactive on the leak.

Advice appreciated,
thank you

Depends on whether the oil line fitting cone seal has a nick, dent or deformation that prevents a 100% seal. I'd inspect it. If you see no apparent damage, try some Permatex PST thread sealant, then button it up and wait. Might help avoid buying a new line for such a small leak.
