old 911 striker plate--STUCK!
(1967 911) I just bought a striker plate repair kit. It has two plastic pieces. Now that I have the striker plate off the body, it looks like the plate has to come apart. Does it separate into two pieces? If so it's stuck.
How do you take it apart without damaging the plate? A tech at the local Porsche dealer took a look and didn't know! |

AFIK, They do not come apart and are usually replaced as one unit.
