Clutch cable nut
On a 1971 911, what size is the nut on the transmission end of the clutch cable?

I can't find it listed here at Pelican. Only the pedal end nuts.

The Porsche part number is 900.078.019.02 and this shows up as NLA (no longer available) on Pelican. I will speculate this means it is either a M6 (6 mm) or M8 (8 mm) nut which are commonly available. Note that the '69 and '72-'73 used an M7 (7 mm) nut (N-011-007-3-OEM $0.75). M7 nuts are more difficult to find but I've seen them at Home Depot of all places.

I would guess an M8 then since it is larger than the pedal end. Thanks. There is a hardware store here that has all kinds of odd nuts and bolts if Pelican can't get it. I have other parts I was ordering at the same time. At least my wish list of parts is getting smaller.
