Nipple on air filter housing

'71 T w/ Zeniths. There is a small nipple (a few mm in diameter) on the bottom side of my a.f. housing.

I am guessing that a hose connects there to drain away oil residue that collects from the breather. Question is, where would the other end of such a hose go?
