Angry Cabrio headliner motor...

Cab guys,

My right side "lock-down" motor has siezed in such a way that the roof isn't completely secured all the way and I'm getting a lot of wind noise at speed.

How can I manually unlatch this motor so I can retract the roof and remove/replace it?

Also, can I manually latch it down tighter to seal the roof better, until I get a replacement motor?

Thanks in advance

Not a cab guy but I recalled the owner's manual addresses "Emergency operation " on page 50

"......
4. Operate the rocker switch until the indicator light goes out. If the electrical locking system for the top is defective, turn both locks with a screw driver until the locks are visibly locked. Indicator light off. The defect should be repaired by an authorized Porsche dealer."

Make any sense to you? Me neither, g'luck.

Yes there are two holes in the headliner that you can insert a screwdriver and manuaully turn until the mechanism is fully locked. It takes alot of turns. I took out the headliner panel so I could lock mine faster.
