know a Porsche mechanic in Houston?
just bought a 1992 911 and looking for a good mechanic in the Houston area. any help is appreciated. I hear going to the dealers is not the best

Steve's right. What part of town since there are lots of good Porsche shops in town. Don't entirely discount a dealer. I got great service at the former Don McGill dealer on I-10 near Kirkwood. His hourly price is out of sight compared to the independant shops though. I use SC Repair on Star near Chimney Rock and I-59 South. Excellent job rebuilding my engine this past summer. There are lots of others.
