Whats it worth?

Hi guys,

Just bought this nice 83 Cab back in October. Very good condition. Original Paint. 133k miles. No rust that I can find. Here is what I have done so far:
New Potenza tires
New Battery
New Upholstered seats- Original
New Floor mats
Reconditioned Interior Carpets
Speedo re-conditioned- Stopped working the day I bought it
New Front and rear hood struts

2 small leaks after driving. I guess this is typical. See the attached picture.

I would like to find out if I got the right deal or not. I did not take it for the PPI. I bought this car well before I found out about this wonderful forum.

Basically it is worth what you are willing to pay for it....and what the PO was willing to part with it for....Prices are all over the board...ROW SCs tend to have a lower value here in the states...hard to put a value on it without knowing more about the mechaical conditions

Hi Don,
As I am a new Porsche owner (proudly), what exactly does ROW mean?
Thanks

"Rest of the World." in other words, a car that was not built to US regulations. Don may be assuming that your car was a ROW car, based on the presence of the indicator repeater lights in the front fenders, which US cars did not have. Your car looks like a US car in other respects and many owners have added those lights to cars that did not have them originally. The cars' VIN (serial number) would tell you what you have. A ROW car will have a Z in the fourth, fifth and sixth number in the sequence.

Hi guys,
There is not a "Z" in the entire VIN. I would guess that the repeater lights were added later. I hope this is good news with concerns to its value.
