88' 911 Parts Diagram Software?

I was over at RMG the other day and I was pointing out some parts to Bob. He uses a software program that lays out all the parts and if you click on any of the parts they highlight and tell you the part name and number.

Is this software available to just anyone or is it only made for mechanics?

I thought I remember the host selling a CD of part diagrams. Is this the same software?

Thanks

Paul,

Check with PP to see if you can still get the disk from them. It covers all the cars both US and row models. Parts Catalogue 11.25 it shows they have them. It's well worth getting it.

Thanks for the links. I wonder if the CD is basically the PDF of the Porsche website. From what I can read on the CDROM it's PDF format so I'm assuming it is.

It would be cool to have the interactive one. I think it's called "PET"

Hi Paul,

The PET CD I bought from the Por$che Part$ Counter (before Por$che made it available) is just like the Web one, i.e. NOT interactive.
