Motorcy.....errr....Porsche gathering in DFW earlier today
Thanks to our host Jay (sibanker) for inviting us over and showing us his scooter collection, as well as Mark Wilson for putting it together. Can you say Triumph? We had a pretty diverse collection of P-cars from a 60's 911 up thru a 993 Turbo, and more than a few in between. We preach diversity here in the Dallas area. It was good to see our NW buddy Island911 here too. More than a few heads snapped as we paraded to lunch.

Ed, I feel like Rudy isnt getting as much love anymore...its like you had a second child and now the first is starved for attention.
PS got any closer ones of that 914GT or that beautiful gray early car?

Matthew: I don't have any better pics than what I posted. There were a lot of other cameras, and they went to a car show. I'm sure there will be more posted tonight.
I was going to take Ruby, but I THOUGHT I had a front wheel bearing going. I skipped the car show to come home and give her some love (I've got a DE next weekend-911 all the way!!), but I lucked out and had a simple repair. I'm too embarrassed to detail it online for the world to see... Ruby's getting her excersize tomorrow morning

I had to leave the car show a little early. What a great day! Jay's motorcycle collection is awseome and that is a understatement. He didn't just write the check he built them from the frame up.

It was nice to meet you all. Some very nice cars as well. I have a few pics I will post up when I get a chance.
Just in case anyone cares, my friend at work has a hunting buddy who is a Highland Park cop and he says he will take care of the ticket, I hope.

I appreciate the compliment about my 914. Kinda makes me happy that I spent the 5+ years and the buckets of money it took to get it that way.
Again, thanks to our host, and to our organizer, and to everyone who showed up. I had a great time. I have a bunch of picts I took with my Treo phone, but I just realized that I left the interface cable at work!!! I will post the picts on Monday.

Great day today. Thanks to all who came and special thanks to Jay for having us over. Really great to see Island911 in Dallas again as well.
Jay has some very cool bikes - 911K's great SWB. Second time he's owned it. This car sound's awesome - James' cool Oak green 912E Tour18's turbo 993 with his custom exhaust - Jay's award winning Cassis red test bed - Ed's landShark -

Shots from the Solana office park -
![]() We then went over to Texas Driver magazine's car show at the Cooper Aerobic Center - ![]() And then on the way home, Island and I ran across this thing. The guy hopped off and gave me a card. It's a GG-Quad. Looked neat.

very cool bikes...they really show how much technology has advanced. I love the look of the older bikes with open frame. Funny thing is I think my downhill mountain bike has bigger hydro brakes than a few of them older bikes.

Wow, I can't quite get over those houses. If one of them was in my neighborhood it woulds be worth at least $3 million! Must be nice.
I guess it's true, everything is bigger in Baja Oklahoma.
