Plugs, Wires & Coil, Oh My!
I recently purchased a 73 911T Targa with six-pack Webers on a 2.4L engine. I need to replace the spark plugs and wires. I was also going to replace the coil. What will work best with this setup? If I replace these items should I also replace the points and rotor?

Clewett or Magnecore wires, Bosch or MSD Blaster SS coil, and replace the points with a Pertronics Ignitor.

Jim:
I'm new in dealing with this car. How can I tell which Bosch distributor is on my car. Thanks for your help. Greg Bauer 73 911T Targa |

I think the # is usally cast in the side of the body by the slot where the wires from the points come out. You can use the search feature here on the BB since it sounds like a question somebody has asked before. I bet John, Wil, Grady, or Jim will have a definative answer.
