SSI installation on a 1987 911

I have been reading a few threads after doing a search, I just purchased a B&B header/heat exchanger 2in 2 out setup and wanted to know if I have to change two oil lines (the ones that go to the oil thermostat)? or can I just mount them without any changes to oil lines? Thanks

On my '80 SC I had to change out the lines. If they are routed the same on your '87 as i suspect they are, then yes, you will need to backdate them.
