wide body conversion kits?

I am thinking about giving my carrera a new paint job and at the same time giving it the Turbo Look.

Does anyone have any recommendations about a good conversion kit?

How much does the entire process typically cost?

Thanks

For longevity of your paint job, I'd go with steel rear flares as opposed to fiberglass ones. I've been told by several experienced Porsche people that the bond will eventually crack due to the different heat expansion rates of fiberglass and steel.

You can get the early ones from http://www.restoration-design.com/ It looks like you have an 86 and I'm not sure if you have early or late torsion cut outs. I think they changed in 86 or 87.

86 are early flares. I just finished my Carrera slant and Bill @ resto-design supplied the rear flares. They fit nicely and I'm running a 10x16 BBS/Fuch center rim w/ 265-45 Kumho V700 w/ a 1" spacer.

Oh, and the car's for sale too.

As in just the flare and not the entire quarter panel with the flare incorporated into it. This was used on later wide bodies.

I'd go with steel as well.

How did the entire conversion to the wide body end up costing?
