Fuel filter question
I'm running a 77 engine with CIS. I was running this fuel filter on it in my 74..
![]() But the 69 I bought has this fuel filter... ![]() My question is which one should I run? If I should run the one on the motor, do I have to fabricate a mounting bracket on the car? If so, anybody have any photos of what it should look like? I can't remember.

It's an MFI filter unit; given the cost of the filters and the fact that it likely isn't rated for CIS pressures you may want stay with the '77 filter. The fuel pump likely needs to be changed and a accumulator added if you keep the 77 CIS. See below thread about the MFI filter unit.
Identify this fuel filter?? |

Thanks Jim. That's what I thought. But, I didn't know that I might need to change the fuel pump. I hope not.
