Question about Power Locks
I am interested about installing power locks in my '76 911 after seeing a Pelican's car that had customized power locks. Do those of you with power locks also have a keyless entry system (where all you do is push a button while walking to/from your car to get it to lock/unlock) as well?

Hey! Don't you need to get your car smogged? Sheesh, my car won't smog, maybe I should install power locks - yeah that'll help. Sorry Matt, just giving you a hard time.

I PASSED SMOG!!! :D  :) This whole weekend calls for celebration, which is why I just spent $170 on Porsche parts for my little weekend project. I faked most of the stuff for the visual - you should see what I can do with some of dad's sprinkler hoses. lol. The car passed emissions fine. Now I won't have to worry about this for another 2 years unless I'm still in CA for college.

Very cool Matt,
Don't get too wild and look out for stray deer! Dave |
I have an alpine alarm and had the guy install solenoids to open and lock the doors automatically with the alarm and when I turn the engine off.

I installed a keyless entry on mine. It has functioned well for 7 years. It was an easy installation without any major drilling. It is upgradeable to flash lights and disable starting although I haven't added it yet. Range goes bad when the batteries in the fob go out (2 years). I got it before I knew about Pelican from Automotion. I't a very good feature.

I did the keyless entry. The biggest pia is running the wires into the door.
