MY Race Car project is finally finished
Well after several long years of building and making changes, my race car is finally finished. Yes, it cost twice as much and took twice as long to build than originally planned but I am very happy with the outcome.
It statted life as a red 1978 SC euro non sunroof coupe. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1144477976.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1144478029.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1144478064.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1144478157.jpg |

WOW, what 'village idiot' said.........
|
Unbelievable. That is some serious firepower. There doesn't seem to be much left of the SC you started with.
I see a 993 rear suspension with a heim-joint multilink and JRZ. That is pretty slick stuff. |
Yea- what everyone else said. Wow.
What does it weigh? And you're making maybe 350-360 hp out of that 3.4? It looks insanely competitive, and like a complete blast to drive. Do let us know... |
Outstanding!
|
Looking through those pics were incredible...you must have a small (umm maybe huge) fortune wraped up in that car!!
Yasin |
man... that rear suspension is sweeeeeeeet!
|
Truly impresive.....
It''s almost...like ....don't put in on a track where it might get *scratched*...or worse.... ! Wil |
Very nice! Can I borrow it sometime?
|
You mean you went thru all that trouble and expense for a few DE's a year?
But seriously........congrats! That car is most awesome! Now go out there and kick A$$!!!!!!!! Make us all proud and defend the Porsche crest! Good Luck! |
Very well done race car!
Why the small rear wing? Trying to keep in class? |
Holy crap that is awesome.
Nice freakin job! |
That is one of the nicest track cars I've ever seen, outstanding!!!:)
