What is the designation for a 75 carrera???

Just wondering and searching for the designations for a 75 carrera. My car seems to have factory carrera flares and was wondering if that was all or what to look for. Thanx, Duke

Post your chassis and engine #s

Engine # 6561618 Chassis # 9115100825 According to Wayne's book the motor is a 76 Cal. spec. And the chassis is an S. Right? What I'm trying to decipher is the rear flares. Factory welds all around the carrera flares.

Here's a picture of the flare http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1144591180.jpg

The book I have says the VIN equates to:

911 = 911
5 = 1975
1 = 911 ( 2=911S, US)(3=911S ROW)(4=Carrera US)
0 = coupe
0825 sequential serial number

Thanx, Tony. BTW I just joined your targa group, all though it will be for only a short while. I'm using the tub for some donor pieces. What are your thoughts on the flares? Were the 75 S's built with either one?

I can't say when the flares were used or not. There certainly doesn't appear to be any body mods done to your car.
ps, I sold my targa 2 yrs ago and now have a coupe, but the user name gets too much funny feedback to change.
