question: oil cooler/fan for slantnose

I need an oil cooler, summer is comming. Normal drive then I don't, but when trafic jam comes, I think I do.
The problem is that my car is a slantnose conversion, the front fender only can fit a small cooler as 1/2 your size. I don't want to fit one up front because I don't want to cut/weld and too much conversion to the car. Also my front is way too lowed. It also has the AC condensor up in place already.

The only place I can think of is the rear fender, right behind the grill/port. Has anyone done so? Do you get after market cooler for it or you shread out $$$ for the original equipment?
Thanks.

IMO, a cooler up front will be more effective, easier to install and less $$$. There is no cutting or welding required. You can use hard or flex lines to extend the reach of your factory lines. I believe Chuck Moreland has a well regarded kit on his ElaphantRacing.com site. If your A/C components are factory you should have no problem at all.

A member here does offer a kit for the rear brake vent cooler/fan setup...I think it may be Keith Epperley (sp).

A search will get more info.....

Hi Rick,
How do you do yours? Please post some pics if possible.
When I look under my car, I can see no place to install it. Then probably my ac condensor is not stock?

You mentioned Keith Epperley, what is his pelican name?

Thanks.
