Steering bushing slides out
 

I have the metal steering bushing replacement in my car.

I noticed playing with the steering wheel today that it has slid about three quarters of the way out. I know it did this about a year ago as well.

Is this a common or unusual occurrence? Should I get a new one or is there something I can do with this one to make it say put?

Did you have to use a hammer to get it in the first time or did it just slide into place?

It was already there, not sure when in was installed.
