rennsport drivers floorboard problem
just installed rennsport perforated floorboards on '87 cab. already have same mfgs. track mats. question i have is clutch pedal adjustment part that is attached to original wooden floorboard. know location of original adj. point from indentations on wood floor board(dead center). problem is i cannot tighten allens enough to keep in place. outer bracket has shallow chamfers for allen heads to be recessed flush with floorboard. tried adding washers to allens on side facing me and entire piece still moves up and down. ie. if clutch pedal fully depressed, piece will move up on elongated oval hole. any ideas from others who have installed these?????

well after speaking to rennsport they stated either turn it around..........DUH! and it will cinch up to metal floorboard, due to variations in wood thickness on stock floorboard. or throw it away as you dont need it. well that didnt sit right due to germans never putting something on car without a function. then talked to my wrench and he stated i need it. well tonight we will turn it around and call it quits.
