cv joint help needed
 

I'm in process of wrapping up a clutch replacement and engine cleanup job on my -84 targa. Last of the items to be done is to repack the cv joints. How many gaskets do I need? I ordered 4 total but that probably only does one side.

The bearings on the first 2 joints show considerably more wear than the last two. Naturally I got the joints mixed up, which is probably not the ideal situation. Which side typically gets more wear, inner or outer? I'm thinking about replacing the bearings from the 2 worn ones. All cages and races look ok.
