86 Carrera stalls when checking oil level
Buddies 86 Carrera stalls when you remove the oil tank cap. I am not familiar with the Motronic setup. What might be causing this problem?

Big vacuum leak. Did he change oil breather hoses lately? There is a plastic restrictor in one of the hoses that needs to be there or you get that exact symptom. I know from recent experience :-)

That's what I was thinking,too. It's the same symptom as a CIS car.
