912 rust issues
 

Where are the area to look for rust issues?
The car is a 66 912 and other than some minor areas in the front trunk seems to be rust free .
Am I missing something?

on a '66. everywhere.

the pans near the pedals and behind the seats, on each side of the hump where the front beam and steering is located, near where the rear supension attaches and the rocker area in front of that. The longs come to mind, the rear taillight buckets where the metal meets bodywork on top. tons of dirt gets in there.

You might not be missing anything if it's been a desert car.

If you have never purschased a 911 you may want a pre purchase inspection (PPI). How does this 912 compare to some 911s you have been looking at?
