brake pedal slop
Just replaced right rear rotor, installed a new replacement set of PFC97 pads, bled the system with power bleeder, bled again with foot pump method, took car out and bedded in pads.
Brakes stop great, pedal is firm once brakes engage, but there is about 2" of slop before brakes engage. From reading past posts, I am guessing that I got a little carried away with pushing in the pistons for insertion of the new pads, and now the pistons are pulled away from the pads when the pedal is not applied? Is the fix just to keep driving and the slop will go away by itself? Thanks, Jeff

Try leeding the systems again but tap the calipers whilst a helper does the pedal pushing. Also, remove the pads, put a thin block of wood in place of them and have your helper push the brake pedal down SLOWLY. Do this a few times for each caliper. This made a big difference in my pedal feel after rebuilding all four calipers. Sounds like you just still have a bit of air in the lines.

Thanks - I'll give those suggestions a try.
Cheers, Jeff
