Blinker lens colour>>storm in a teacup or important ???

Just realized this morning when driving to work that the garage changed my indicator lens to clear from orange when I sent the car in for readjusting the too low setting.

So I just Called and asked why they changed --"
Let me check sir......(5 Min's later) oh sorry sir - wrong car haha (nervous giggle) ... it was another customer who asked us to change to clear....but now you have new ones..you should be happy"
Answer:
"No, I want you to change them back they don't match"

Would you insist or am I making a big deal out of nothing ?

...Should I just keep them and be done with it ........they don't match the rear or front Orange ones ...?

Im amazed that you eagle eyes never noticed yesterday when I posted the lowering pics...haha

By the way we have a Typhoon coming >>>

Not sure what to say?? If you are happy, I'd be done with it.
Good storm graphics. Like the lower ride height, too.

Get the amber side markers back. You are right, they don't look right.

I would want them back just for the principle of the thing. I would not want a shop randomly making parts swaps on my car.

Personally I'd want the lenses to be stock. And I don't like the idea of the shop making changes - even improvements, in fact especially cosmetic improvements - without my knowing about it.

Change them

I believe it was a genuine mistake as the garage is not well organised to be honest...anyway at least I know I'm not being unreasonable. I'm an hotellier and if a customer was brought a
T bone steak US grade steak when he requested a burger he'd send it back...or maybe he wouldn't ! haha

1. I would want them back just for the principle of the thing. I would not want a shop randomly making parts swaps on my car.

Yep will have the clear ones removed, I dont think it looks quite right with clear.
Cheers

Your call, Rad. If you don't like the change and you didn't ask for it, it's a no-brainer. I wonder how much they charged the other guy to NOT get his side markers changed?!

Despite the 'principle' of the matter, i think the clear ones look 'cleaner' on your car. It's more subtle (tho' not factory, i know). Since you mentioned that it doesn't match the front amber lights, i would switch those to clears as well. IMHO, the clear lens blends in with the silver colored car.

Yup...clear looks much cleaner especially for that color. Keep'em for the heck of it.

Matches the Fog lights actually

Just waxed the car and took a picture this afternoon - from this angle it matches the Fog lights actually...
Cheers

Clear markers are the first step on the slippery slope of ricing your car....

So what's your final decision? Have you had the markers changed back to stock or did you decide to let it ride?

Nihaomen,

Make them change it. Someone had too much MSG at lunch and made a careless mistake, shiu shiu very much. Of course that makes you wonder about doing any serious work with them.
