My A/C upgrade project finally complete and it works!
It took a few months of too few weekend spare hours but I finally got my A/C upgrade done.

Very nice job! Report back performance when it becomes hotter outside and how it does in slow traffic. Cheers, Jim

Thanks, Jim! A pull-type fan on the underside of the rear condenser would probably be a nice addition, but would be real pain to attach. Moving the condenser with the hoses attached is very difficult. Unless I can figure out a clean way to attach it from the underside -- it does have a flange all the way around it -- I'll probably just forget about it unless its performance tanks when the summer REALLY gets here.

great writeup!

Great news John! Congrats!

excellent work, john. be sure to let us know how it holds up and compares in the hot texas summer. planning on new barrier-style hoses and receiver/drier, plus probably a 'sidewinder', low-profile electric fan to try on my stock rear condensor for this summer. :)
