My SC is kinda low so I threw these "parking boards" together so I could get my floor jack under the car. I took the idea from others that have similar so it's not new but it works great.
2 2x10's with 2x4's between them to keep the distance equal. I hinged the 2x4's so that I could fold the unit in half if needed. ![]() ![]()

The ramp is only 1 1/2" tall. I have had "no" problem driving up on a 2X4 or a 2X6 piece. Why not four little pads and alot less to store.
Drive in, stop, put the pads in front of the wheels. Then drive up on them. Seems simple to me. No muss, no fuss, simple! Randy Jones 1971 911 "Iris" |

I have been using 2 of them stacking on top of each other in order for me to stick my jack underneath the car. What a pain

I had the same problem until I got a lower floor jack. My new one goes down to 3"
