993 ride height and rake?
My old 1986 911 had a pretty aggressive ride height and rake to it. The new 1996 993 I picked up seems to have a pretty high ride height and almost no rake to it.
Old 911: New 911: So my question is, what is the proper ride height for a 993, and do people setup 993s with a rake to them (if so, what degree/angle)?

Stock 993's are seemingly set up for Paris-Dakar. M030 lowering springs to ROW height is most common - don't have any specific height detail for you. H&R also makes a set of lowering springs, about 1.5" lower.
If the shocks are stock (which they probably are), they are shot. Bilstein HD is a popular replacement, you'll want the ones with the fully threaded body to use with lowering springs. Contact Bob Brooks at www.VB-motorsports.com - he's a frequent poster on the Rennlist 993 forum.

I also own a96 c2 and plan to get rid of the suv ride height.I probably go with the M030 which is the factory set up for the rest of the world(ROW) which is about 1.5 in.lower if Im not mistaken.
Another popular application is PSS9 which is more expensive , but its adjustable, giving you more flexibility. |

I love the H&R sport springs, Bilstein HD shocks and 993TT swaybars - alignement set to RS specs +10mm rideheight.
