I've been told by my mechanic that I have some transmission work in my future. This prompted me to do some soul-searching about what I don't like about my gearbox.

Hmmm, the RATIOS!

What could you do with 250-325 HP (N/A), or 350-400 HP (turbo)and this gearing?

R&P 8/31

1ST 18/50 (2.777 custom)
2ND 19/32 (W)
3RD 23/28 (SN)
4TH 29/28 (0.97 custom)
5TH 28/22 (NM)

Primary use would be as a daily driver with canyon running and higher-speed road courses as often as they could be found.

I welcome suggestions, as this is a daydreaming/learning opportunity for me, and there are plenty of brains to pick around here...
