Where does vacuum boost hose run on a '77 911s?

Hi,

Took my '77 out on an Easter run today and my friend informed me that my vacuum boost doesn't work. It never had and is not hooked up. (PO disconnected it!)

I want to replace the hose that goes from the engine bay to the vacuum booster and was wondering where this goes through the body? It doesn't appear to run through the trans tunnel? Somewhere there is a leak in the line.

Thanks

Nevermind--found it. Metal tube that runs through the tranny hump and back--exits to a rubber hose near where the shift coupler exits the body by the trans.

FYI--mine was broken down and nearly completely disconnected which would make me understand why the PO just disconnected and capped it at the airbox. Now I may have my brake booster working!!

Hope this helps somebody in the future.
