alternator rebuild New Jersey
 

Anyone in New Jersey know of a place I can take my 78 SC's
alternator for a rebuild? (It's the Valeo with internal regulator) I have it removed and ready to go. I am located in Central NJ.

After 2 tries, (and three removal/installs which I am quite proficient at now), I finally ordered a rebuilt alternator from our host.

I wrote JC a letter asking for a partial refund. No response.

Q. I'll give Mike over at BodyMotion a call. I've used them in the past and have always been impressed with his work, I thought perhaps a a shop that specialized in rebuilding alts might be a little less pricey. So if anyone knows of one, let me know.

You guys in Eatontown, there's a certain McDonalds with a magnesium 935 centerlock wheel on the wall. I stopped in there for a coffee one morning and was awestruck to see it hanging there with a placard that said, "Only part remaining from a car completely destroyed at Le Mans." It's real, too, part number is: 935 361 123 00.

Im going to have to go down there and check that out.. Is it the one right across from the 711 and wendys?
