backordered forever fuel lines (carrera)
of these four fuel lines (carrera tunnel pressure and return, and bulkhead to filter and bulkhead to rail)
911-356-062-08 911-356-066-08 911-356-083-01 BO I need this (new) 911-356-085-05 BO I nedd this (new) both bulkhead lines are BO forever, but I received the two tunnel lines. together these four lines are cheaper stock than doing stainless flex yourself. But after receiving two of the four I'm stuck with fabbing my own from bulkhead to bottom of FPR and bulkhead to filter. If I would have known about the BO thing I would have gone all DIY with flex. But $200 into stock lines I need more fittings to use the lines from the tunnel. So I should have gone DIY all along with 20 or 30 feet of hose in the first place, and correct fittings. I guess I'm just ranting, don't really know Why does a -6 female appear to fit the stock pressure line from the tunnel (pump)?????? ALSO, the reason for doing this is in the first place to avoid looking for the proper banjo fitting for the fuel pump. if flex hose rides next to/on the body, as in the bottom filter line to bulkhead and fpr to bulkhead won't it create wear marks on the hose or body. what a pain in the ass |

Jerry I have one of the bulkhead lines, new, hanging on the wall in my garage. Not sure if it is the feed or return line. Let me know if you are interested and I will figure out which one it is.

Sometimes you can go to a fuel-line / fitting shop, and they can take your old lines and fab new rubber pieces for them...

ya I might have gone there if I could have cought that it was packed and shipped before I could call in and cancelled the whole thing. It was already on it's way before I could fix it. No harm though, once internet and comps are on all the boats in the gulf I'll be alright, NOT.
I don;t know that I would have cancelled anyway. Thanks Wayne |

Nope on both, I only have the low pressure one with the flex hose on the end. I used the high pressure line for a project

Is there any specs out there for converting the fuel delivery system to stainless steel lines and AN fittings?

Thanks! Any adverse problems with the SS lines rubbing on anything?

This is why I've not gone deeply into this project yet-it seems almost pointless to do it without some easy way to do the bulkhead lines.

I haven't stuck me head down there yet but I do smell an ever-so-faint scent of fuel and I'm getting myself ready for the project.

I guess I'm kind of lucky in that respect. One of my friends owns the local Earl's store so getting the right stuff is just a matter of wandering over there.
