fuel line replacement
I just replaced my gas lines on my 1983 911sc with new hoses (pumped and return). I am now having problems cranking the engine. The engine acts as like it will start but then appears to be starved for gas. I question now if I have properly connected the hoses on the engine side of the tunnel. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this.

Maybe a line got clogged? I would take off a line after the pump, put the end in a bucket and turn the ignition on to see if fuel is pumping. Just put something over the top of the bucket because so it doesn't splash too much.
But, maybe someone will have a better idea. Free bump to the top.

Any chance you switched the pressure side and the return line?
jump power to the pump (at the fuse) and you'll hear fuel returning to the fuel tank and maybe even hear the regulator opening. Doug
