Rear swaybar upgrade.
If I would like to upgrade my stock swaybar in the rear (16 mm).
Since it has the ball-type connection to the trailing arms, what are my options? Do I need to get the type that connects to the springplate?

As far as i know, you should be able to upgrade all the way to (nonadjustable) Carrera bars in the rear (21mm). I just did and noticed a significant improvement in cornering when combined with 22mm Carrera fronts. The adjustables take it further if you are hardcore DE, but are $$$...

I run a Carrera rear sway in my '74 with the ball-type arms and I haven't had any problems. You'll need to fab some mounts for the ball-type link to attach to the Carrera sway though, pretty simple to do actually.
If you go any larger than the Carrear Im pretty sure you're going to need to either upgrade the arms or use a sway that attaches to the spring plates.
