Griffiths A/C variable fan speed control -- comments?

Does anyone have Griffiths variable fan speed control for their A/C system?

How do you like it? What was install like?

Excellence did an article on this jewell. Looks like it might help but its a lot of work and I remember it being kind of pricey. I'd be curious to know if anyone has one.
