does this seal puller work?

doing some pre-planning. i need to yank out that seal behind the flywheel. will this help? give me a reason to chase down the snap on truck

What's so special about that tool? Versus, a box cutter, curved pick, or some other item found at Home Depot or Kragen.

yes I've used similar and they work well

stronger than a curved pick which is the closest to this one

but eventually you will be drowning in crap you bought to do a job once a million years ago....

Hey Cliff, I have a VERY similar one, but Craftsman, probably cheaper too. You can use it anytime if you don't want to buy, but as I remember it was cheap. $20 or less. I have had it for years and used it on all kinds of applications.

Money well spent.

wow jim. i remember reading that thread ages ago. at that time i didnt even know which seal everyone was all fired up about. i was a newb to the nth power. now i am more dangerous.
