Euro Autowerks Inc. located in Rockford, just north of G.R. I heard they work on P-cars frequently, I have no experience with them.

Check out www.EuroEast.com.
Jerry St. Germaine is a good guy and a Pelican. He is in Battle Creek but it may be worth the drive from where you are.

In the '80s he was trained by Porsche and worked for the local dealer. He's a good guy and he knows these cars well.

I will second the recommendation for EuroAutowerks in/near Rockford. Their number is 616-874-7932. They were recommended to me by several of the WMR PCA members.
I had my 911SC lowered & aligned there a couple years ago. Tim definitely knows the cars well, and seemed to be willing to work with me to prioritize updates/fixes rather than just replacing everything that's old and tired or doing everything "by the book" (like another shop that raised the car back to US / offroad ride height without asking, then charged me $600 for the job...) Last year they also did a bunch of work on my wife's Mercedes convertible to fix some power steering leaks and a "loose" feeling in the suspension that turned out to be caused by a worn stabilizer arm or some such. Lots of $ for parts but that isn't the shop's fault; we all know what this stuff costs. The labor charges were reasonable. And the car now feels like I imagine a Mercedes should (big & heavy but not rattly and squirrelly). They also have a pretty nice collection of vintage Porsches out back in the shop, at least they did when I was there. Worth a look.
