What valance is this and who makes it?

This is my car but I get this question all the time, what is the valance that is on the car and who makes it?

I can't tell for sure, but it looks close to this one:

I looked at the Getty and GT Racing cataloges and didn'd see it, but may have missed it?

Anyway, it looks good!

Tom,

I think you are right, my car was dressed up as a narrow body BTR when I purchased it. That would make sense.

I personally like the duck, no rockers and the "Carrera" graphics much better! Nice wheels too. It's cool that by changing only a few fairly easy things, you can really change the look of your car.

Do you have an oil cooler behind it? Without the a/c condensor it would just be for looks otherwise.

I think you just have to re-use the stock panel that fits there unless you sold it with the original valence.

Well, original valence is still on the car, there is rubber lip spoiler in place of circled items. What's underneath it?

I'm not sure what you mean by rubber lip. The stock valence has a small metal panel between the fender and the bellows for the bumper. I would think you could keep that piece and fit it on your new valence. Perhaps you could add a picture of your current valence.

I think thats what is going to have to happen. Cut off this piece of a fiberglass bumper and resign it onto the new one. Unless there is a better option.

Like this:

Does the new bumper look like this peice is cut off? There must be a reason for this. Maybe it is for an early car?

Here is mine, I installed a front oil cooler and modified the original valance maintaining the rubber lip and original stance.

Oh crap I knew what goes there! The front bumper you bought is for a turbo flaired car and uses the factory rubber lip probably! Doh!

I thinkThe Racer's Group sells (or sold) the one in the original post. You might call and ask them.
