New Toy and Still Aircooled

Getting withdrawl after crashing the 930, and was looking for an early 70's car, to keep me driving whilst I rebuild the 930. My wife persuaded me to look at something a little newer, and drove a couple of 996's, but too soft for my liking.
I have always liked the 993's, less raw than the 930, but more soul than 996, and the last of the aircooled era, and something I can work on.
So this is what I got at weekend, the deal is I am not allowed to track this car, the 930 is for the track when finished. I can compromise.

1995 Aventurine Green, 25,000 miles, fully documented from day one, pristine, except for a few stone chips, Cup Airbox, Fabspeed Maxflows, Eibach Pro Springs, lowered about 1.5 inches.
Put the smile back on my face, sounds like a Porsche should and has ABS, stops on a dime.

Bought form a individual, I think I paid a couple of grand over for the low mileage, but this car looks like new. $37,500

Great car and color ! A 930 for track and a 993 as a daily driver sounds good to me Julian

Cheers,

Simple and lovely car, looks really nice indeed, it's no 4S but it's simplicity is most charming.

Dark green with a light colored interior...beautiful. For some reason, that color combo really grabs me.

Thats arguably the most beautiful car made since 1973.

May I ask - what is that handle on the rear deck lid ? Have not seen that item before.

As the immortal Jeff Spicoli once said, "You *****!".

That's way cool, man. Adventurine Green is one of my favorite Porsche colors. Enjoy it.
