Hi,i've had a 1980 911SC for 10 years now and was thinking of buying thoses BB header, muffler kit $4,000 living in Canada and we hve smog tests every year when insurance renewal.I was wonding after taking off the stock exhaust and muffer as one unit piece and the BB kit has oil lines to replace stock ones to fit the BB exhaust muffer and headers.Well i be able to put back the stock exhaust heatexchangers without much fuss as into just unbolt after market header studs, and put stock exchangers muffer on for smog testing then change back for another year?Does anyone have this setup, dual single tipped muffler?I dont use the heater or air conditionering unit.Or should i buy just those Ansa straight header $600 ,ansa muffers $300.Or is there something cheaper and easier to install without changing oil lines and things?Something nice and loud like my mustang flowmasters.

You said it....Flowmaster. Throw one of those on and you'll love the sound!!!
It can be hooked up to your existing cat by a competent muffler shop. Do a search here under 'exhaust'. Lots of different setups have been written about and tested by the Pelican members. M+K makes some sweet mufflers as well.(MB911 is Ben's screen name.)

Defintaly stay away from B&B its a waste of money for little to none in gain. SSIs and a decent sport muffler will work the best and outlast the car.
Flow masters sound good but man they get a little out of control (loudness)
